Affiliate Disclosure

Some links may support this site

Living with Gear may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links, at no additional cost to you. If a relevant affiliate relationship is active, the merchant or network may attribute a qualifying purchase to our referral.

Not every outbound link is an affiliate link. We also link directly to manufacturers, support documentation, and merchants to help you verify information. A link alone does not indicate that we have been accepted into a particular program.

What a commission changes

An affiliate commission helps support the publication of buying guides. It does not make us the seller, increase the price through a fee we charge, or transfer responsibility for your purchase to us. Prices, discounts, delivery, returns, and warranty terms remain with the merchant.

What it does not change

Our recommendations discuss real tradeoffs and suitable use cases. We do not claim to have personally tested a product unless an article documents that work. We do not invent customer scores, review counts, savings, or performance measurements to encourage a purchase.

We may recommend a lower-cost option, keeping a device you already own, or waiting until a clearer need appears. The presence or absence of an affiliate arrangement is not proof of product quality.

How to recognise commercial relationships

Buying articles include a disclosure near the beginning. Affiliate links are marked for search engines using the appropriate sponsored relationship. If we publish paid sponsored content, the relationship will be identified in that content. Brand names and illustrative photos do not imply sponsorship.

Before you buy

Confirm the current specifications, exact model, local availability, electrical and device compatibility, seller reputation, and returns policy. Follow the merchant’s own guidance. Visit our Editorial Policy to understand how guides are prepared.
